We Care for Humanity (WCH) Founder and President, Ms. Maria Amor, has just concluded a back to back official visits to the Republic of Indonesia and the Philippines last August, as an invited speaker in the International Spices Conference at the Aston Ambon International Hotel, Maluku, Indonesia. While in Jakarta, she was officially installed as the World Peace Head Representative for California, USA of the World Peace Committee headed by Dr. Dyuyoto Suntani. The highlight of her Indonesian visit however, was her conferment of Doctorate in Divinity by the Board of STT Hagiasmos Institute of Theology led by its Head Dr. Johan Pasaribu. After her Indonesian trip, Maria Amor immediately embarked in a Feeding Program and Goods Distribution Program for the Abatex Community, a dumpsite community is located in Montalban, Province of Rizal in the Philippines where about 100 families are informal settlers for more than a decade now. She was joined by several companies which are firm believers of WCH’s mission. Nearly a decade into doing community works, service to the nation and humanitarian missions mostly in California and selected Asian countries, Ms. Maria Amor could not look more at home when she is with her favorite subjects and constituents, the poor, the homeless, the underserved and the needy. Adding another feather in her cap, Maria Amor is set to attend the International Women’s Center Conference aptly titled “Women as Emerging Markets: Leveraging Growth Strategies through Corporate Partnerships” organized by the International Women’s Think Tank, a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. The high-profile conference, to be held in Agnes Scott College, Rebekah Scott Hall 141 E. College Avenue Decatur, Georgia 30030 on October 17, 2013, will have Ms. Claire Mathonsi and Ms. Sixolile Delight Ngocobo, Head of the Business Women’s’ Association of South Africa as Special Guest Speaker. Highlight of which is the introduction of WCH’s flagship project, the Annual Global Officials of Dignity (G.O.D.) Awards, which is now on its second year. Finally, Ms. Amor is set to officially open the We Care for Humanity Atlanta Chapter with the group of Ms. Etheridge as direct partners.
