We Care for Humanity and Airline Ambassadors International Joined Forces in the Philippines10/16/2013 ![]() Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA October 15, 2013 – We Care for Humanity (WCH) Founder and President, Ms. Maria Amor has joined forces with the Airline Ambassador International headed by its President and Founder, Ms. Nancy Rivard in bringing humanitarian missions in the Philippines from October 23 – 28, 2013. Accompanied by their respective organization officers and volunteers from around the world, both Ms. Amor and Ms. Rivard will jumpstart their full-packed week-long itinerary which will kick off on October 23, 2013, Wednesday with a Feeding Program and Goods Distribution Program at the Abatex Community in Montalban, Province of Rizal. The WCH and AAI delegation will be welcomed by the WCH- Philippine Chapter headed by its president Rizaline Irene Pascual and Jesus Our Great Shepherd (JOGS) headed by Pastor Ariel Pascual. As one the adopted beneficiaries of WCH, Abatex dumpsite community is located in Montalban, Province of Rizal in the Philippines where about 100 families are informal settlers for more than a decade now, with filtering the daily garbage as the community’s main source of income. Abatex Community is inhabited by children from ages 2 to 12 years old are exposed to this kind of work and are compelled to help their parents augment their meager income due to extreme poverty. On this humanitarian mission, Ms. Amor excitedly share, “We at the We Care for Humanity are just so happy to have partnered with the Airline Ambassadors International at this time for humbling experience, which is to be with the children and families of Abatex Community in the Philippines. We are ready to see them being inspired and continue to have hope and dreams that at the other side of the globe, there are people who are there to care for them, and to share whatever they have to have dignity and continue to celebrate life. Ms. Nancy Rivard you are amazing!” The following day, October 24, Thursday, the group will embark on a four-day stay-in and living-in experience with the children of the Shepherd of the Hills Orphanage in the Province of Zambales. Shepherd of the Hills Children’s Foundation, Inc. (SOTH) is a Christian child care and child development organization focusing on children and youth who are in need, abandoned, neglected, orphaned, dependent, and underprivileged. This mission will be held from October 24 – 28, which is a four-day assimilation program. Both WCH and the Airline Ambassador officials and volunteer members will try to learn and at the same time assimilate the process in this chosen child care organization, which shelters children for short and long term care. As a developmental organization, SOTH employs developmental programs adopted and designed to specifically address changing needs of children and youth in crisis. Its approaches usher enhancing and life changing activities to help a child experience love, care, belongingness, respect, positive growth and development in a safe and healthy environment leading them to regain self esteem, self worth, inner healing and freedom from a bitter, cruel and unhealthy life experiences. “We are equally so happy and proud of the partnership we have with We Care for Humanity for this humanitarian effort. On the 28th of October, after the humanitarian missions, both the WCH and Airline Ambassadors officers and members volunteers will be heading toward the Megaworld Global Estate Properties in Tagaytay City, Province of Batangas, to cap their week-long visit in the Philippines through an observation and evaluation conference via the majestic view of the world - famous Taal, the world’s smallest active volcano, which is sitting in Taal Lake. It is at Tagaytay City where the newest property development of Megaworld is located, The Tagaytay Twin Lakes. The entire transportation requirement of the entire trip is provided by Megaworld Global Estate owned by Property and conglomerate Philippine magnate, Dr. Andrew Tan.
