We Care for Humanity (WCH) Founder, Maria Amor Torres is   in the midst of mourning due  to the passing of her biological father, Datu  REYNALDO C. TORRES.

Reynaldo C. Torres
Sunrise: November 7, 1943
Sunset: September 30, 2018

Reynaldo C. Torres was one of our great Filipino heroes. Friendly and approachable, as a defender of the weak, Reynaldo often attempted to resolve community issues and problems. And he proved it with his deeds. He served as Chief Justice of all Barangays in Montalban, Rizal and was a very serious man who was committed to his community. But for those who knew him, particularly his friends and family, he had a wicked sense of humor.  He was so popular in his home town of  Montalban that he could have easily excelled as a politician. But he chose to remain accessible to his friends, family and colleagues in the community.

Even at a young age, Reynaldo was responsible and tough as nails. He was employed as a chief mechanic, but survived several incidents that would have finished weaker men. He was shot and even stabbed. But his indomitable spirit and will to succeed kept him alive.

Reynaldo was loved by many and adored the presence of his grandchildren. Revered in the city of  Montalban, he will be sorely and deeply missed.

He is survived by his children:   Maria Leonora, Maria Cristina, Ferdinand,   Rizaline Irene and Eden,
his  grandchildren:   Krishna, Niles Kim, Kianna, Andie, Kurt, Christian, King, Samantha, Kairos and Reynalyn,
his sisters:  Ligaya, Yolly, Cecil and  Lolita.

Maria  Amor  dedicates this poem to her father written by Maureen Brindle from UK

REYNALDO C. TORRES
Reynaldo C. Torres was a great Filipino
As Chief of Justice, he was a super hero,
He was defender of the weak,
To everyone, he would speak
The  people’s problems,  he tried to resolve
So the courts were not involved.
Friendly approachable and just.
He dealt with bad people, as a Chief must.
To his family, he was strong and brave,
Love and encouragement he gave.
For perfection, he never strived.
The best we could be, we were his pride.
Everyone laughed at his jokes.
Everyone listened when he spoke.
His high ideals will always be,
In our lives for all to see.
So greatly he will be missed
His love will forever persist.

Reynaldo's final resting place  is at    Forest Lawn Memorial Park
Don Mariano Marcos Highway, Rodriguez,  Rizal

Maria Amor would like to thank Mr. Buddy Sampson for writing the Obituary and all the their friends and relatives who sent  outpouring love and sympathies during these difficult times.

We Care for Humanity (WCH) Founder and President, Princess Dr. Maria Amor is once again on her humanitarian tour: this time in Kathmandu, Nepal with a mission to help alleviate the condition of the street children of Koseli School, a center for slum and street children situated in Kathmandu, Nepal.

For the first time, WCH came-up with a solution to insufficient supply of safe drinking water in rural and poverty-stricken areas. Princess Maria together with WCH Advisor from India, Mr. Chetan Hora, and Mr. Surjendu Ghanty, launched the WCH WatersTM also known as Water for Humanity by donating 1 unit to Koseli School benefitting more than 100 students last February 21, 2018.

“God is so great that He created the world’s surface with three-quarters (3/4) of water to serve all living things”. And especially the drinking water should be made available FREE to mankind! But we know it is not possible. That is why WCH is proud to introduce Water for Humanity Filter Device or simply WCH WatersTM. WCH aims to supply the world with safe drinking water in the most practical, sustainable and the lowest cost possible.”, said by the princess of Baloi.

According to Mr. Chetan Hora, a footwear & real-state businessman from Kolkata, India, they plan to bring WCH WatersTM not only in the whole of Asia but also in Africa and Middle-East. “I am a big believer of WCH mission and vision and I follow Princess Maria’s leadership in spreading humanitarianism. I am happy to be a partner for this WCH Waters to help those in need of safe drinking water.”

Mr. Surjendu Ghanty  who works with WCH on WCH WatersTM said that people should be aware of disadvantages of drinking Reverse Osmosis water. According to World Health Organization, it affects brain development in kids, and acts as slow poison to all, (please click) http://www.waterfyi.com/featured/w-h-o-ya-gonna-believe/.  “WCH WatersTM doesn’t strip-off minerals found in water which are beneficial to our body and this is the same technology used by the Military so you can be assured this is totally safe.”, Ghanty justified

After the thirst-quenching donation, the Princess also distributed hundreds of pairs of slippers to the children. “When we first came to Koseli school, we were shocked that most of them don’t wear any shoes or footwear at all, it is heartbreaking!”, both Hora and Ghanty exclaimed.
“As always, it is a great feeling to be able to make these children happy, to know that their feet are not going to hurt anymore on their way to school... and especially, nothing is more important than their health, now being protected by drinking safe water.”, Amor testified. “And lastly, I want to thank Mrs. Sarika Chaudhary and the Chaudhary Foundation headed by Merina who helped us organized this charity work in Kathmandu.”

Most Selfless Donation Made to Aid We Care For Humanity Missions On Thanksgiving Dinner

12/4/2017

PicturePrincess Maria Amor and Mr. Vo van Thanh
Orange County, CA – The thing about post-Thanksgiving dinners is, they bring a myriad of reasons to give God credit for each and every single blessing that was received and are to be received, which the Calvinist saw as directly stemming from the will of God. On a star-lit Saturday night last November 25, 2017 at Moon Light Restaurant and Banquet, approximately 2000 people had gathered and celebrated Thanksgiving with International world leaders, businessmen, educators, religious groups and just ordinary citizens wanting to witness the change in the world through humanitarian efforts and movements.

Princess Maria Amor Torres was invited to speak in front of the entire thankful and hopeful crowd and she never disappoints through her humility and sincerity as she speaks out of the abundance of her heart. In fact, her heartfelt speech about teamwork, her plans, and vision for humanity resonated with the audience, which shifted the atmosphere of celebration of giving instead of Thanksgiving alone. The night so unexpectedly became a celebration of generosity and gratitude. The speech was so beautiful it turned out to be the talk of the night and the next, encouraging Mr. Vo van Thanh, an American-Vietnamese Veteran, to donate his life insurance policy amounting to $100,000.00. According to Thanh, his life insurance was meant for his daughter, but her daughter declined the gift and just asked him to give it to a more useful cause. Isn’t this just a surreal moment for humanity? Great hearts exist and so does God speak volumes through such a deed.

Why don’t we have a glimpse over the life of Vo van Thanh?

Vo graduated from the Vietnamese Military Academy sảme ás West Point military in the USA. He was a group commander of 305 heavy boats. He is a true leader by nature. He was also once a City Councilman in Saigon. He is a licensed Real Estate broker/agent since 1978. He is a principal, teacher and the owner of California Real Estate School in the beautiful City of Westminister. Hundreds of students become came to success as brokers and agents because of Vo’s heart to share his knowledge about the business of Real Estate. Up to this day, he is still an active RE broker and now, a full-fledged philanthropist.

“Lots of lives will change because of this donation. Thank you for partnering your good heart with WCH missions. This is nothing but an extraordinary gift received in such an extraordinary occasion. My heart is so appeased knowing that there are still people like Mr. Vo van Thanh, whose heart is brave, selfless and is dedicated to humanitarian causes. I live for moments like these. Not the amount, not for the paper money, but the deed is completely satisfying let alone humbling. I give God credit for good hearts like Vo’s-a blessing to humanity in its very essence. May this deed be an inspiration to all mankind to step forward and do an act of kindness and serve humanity.” –Maria Amor

We Care for Humanity’s very own Publicity Ambassador; Maurice Dwayne Smith recently took upon the role of Global Santa (Santa Claus) in Uganda.

Global Santa is an annual Christmas global gift giving drive program of WCH benefitting marginalized children in developing countries believing in a mantra: there’s a Santa Claus in each and everyone of us.

Receiving the kind hearted donation of Maurice is the Tries of Campbell Orphan Children Center Uganda where 200 children enjoyed gifts and food to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Coordinated by Kenneth Kalule, the children center celebrated Global Santa with entertainment programs performed by the children.

Princess Maria Amor, founder of We Care for Humanity said, “Christmas is a wonderful time of the year when we celebrate faith, family, and the tradition of good wishes and giving gifts to others, family or friends. As we believe that every child should be given equal opportunity to be happy regardless of race, color, religion or socio economic status. I thank Maurice Dwayne Smith for his generosity and dedication to help others. His selflessness and compassion brought joy to many children of Uganda.”

About Maurice D. Smith:

“I was born in Fountainbleu in Paris France to an army family. My father ,Ruben Smith, and my mother Nancy Smith, worked for the Army and as a school teacher in France, respectively. We are originally from the South. My father’s people from Misissippi and Alabama and my mom’s from South Carolina. I am an avid sports fan and I attended and played sports----football, wresting, and track----- at Bishop England High School, in Charleston, South Carolina; my mom chose both a Catholic high school and an elementary school, Immaculate Conception, for my sister and I. Initially, I wasted a lot of time in school pursuing sports and partying but nevertheless,I went to the College of Charleston, The University of South Carolina, where I majored in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, with a minor in Theatre and Speech. I finally graduated from The University of Redlands, in Redlands, CA with a degree in business management. I managed to get into SAG-AFTRA, mostly as an extra, but I have done an occasional speaking stint here and there—CD-ROMs, experimental and industrial films, and voice overs in radio. My most recent endeavor was playing a doctor on "Grey's Anatomy". I like horror, love, thrillers, and I like to read. Weightliftingand jogging are some of my hobbies also. Interestingly enough, my family prepared me for a life on the move, as I have been to every state in The USA except for Alaska and Hawaii. I have an older sister who chose the teaching profession and is doing quite fine. What was i like as a child? Well I tend to think that I existed and flourished within "a culture of hate"--------however South Carolina has ceased and desisted with both "The jim Crow Laws' and flying the Confederate Flag------------I witnessed "colored only" bathrooms, and was in establishments where the Klan showed up. I stayed at hotels where my family and I found pounds of raw CHITTERLINS---hogs guts----- at our doorstep!! But don't get me wrong, as despite these ugly truths about the South, I grew up with some very cool whites, mexicans, Filipino's and other races. But it is what it is. It has Metamorphosized into being a cultural and real estate melting pot, as many from other states are recently flocking there for the cheaper home prices, very stable, safer lifestyle and "bible belt" mentality, and affordable education. I too have Metamorphosized , as I am not the militant little athletic, and partying freak I used to be and have settled into writing for Cold Heat News and assisting We Care for Humanity with their charitable functions. Consequently, I am pretty much a normal army brat who has realized that life is what you make it and people and things are subject to change. So change with life and let by gones be by gones. My dad has since passed away, and my mom and sister and most of my cousins are still alive, but their positive, significant influence, along with the impact my elementary and high school friends have had on me continues on;infact, I believe, where it not for my childhood friends, my high school football Coach Jack Cantey and occasional teenage battles with my dad, I would have become a gang member! Thus my personal manifesto is, Live hard, party when it is time, and utilize both education, and Love for God, and know that FAMILY AND FRIENDS are most important; They're one's conduit for a viable and happy life. ALSO, A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND---NOT A "FAIR WEATHER"------INDEED.”
